Intelligent Analytics

CCTV’s new Video Analytics solution provides genuinely intelligent
traffic monitoring and significantly extends the value of traditional
surveillance systems.
Using
behavioural recognition technology, the system can interpret the traffic
conditions and send this information in real time to a central control
room using 3G, Wi-Fi, broadband or fixed networks.
The
analytics system can be integrated to WCCTV portable surveillance
equipment, in order to automatically monitor traffic conditions.
Alternatively, video analytics can be integrated to an existing fixed
CCTV system.
The system
immediately identifies unusual traffic behaviour as it occurs, alerting
control room operatives.
When
traffic operators are automatically alerted to a congestion problem they
are able to act faster to alleviate the problem, by coordinating
traffic signals and implementing specific traffic plans to get vehicles
moving again.

Analytics will also continuously collect highly accurate traffic data
(vehicle numbers, types etc) which can be used for retrospective
analysis and planning.
