On site will be WCCTV’s Network Rail Type Approved CCTV Tower which has been designed to offer a track-side solution for security and level crossing monitoring. WCCTV’s thermal imaging technology and analytics software also allows the system to be deployed as a mobile census data gathering solution.
These systems are currently deployed a over 200+ Network Rail sites monitoring Level Crossing usage across the country, as well as securing critical infrastructure.
The company will also be offering demonstrations of its Remote Condition Monitoring solutions, which allow users to receive automatic alerts, and view live and recorded images, from sites at risk of flooding and landslips. The system was officially launched in 2014, and won the Infrarail Award for Innovation in Technology.
A number of these systems are currently active across the UK and are proving to be a great asset in helping Network Rail reduce the costs and inconvenience to passengers associated with flooding and landslips.
Also on display will be WCCTV’s range of depot security solutions, including the WCCTV Site Dome, which have been successfully deployed at Network Rail sites, helping reduce trespass, theft and vandalism incidents.
