WCCTV win National Grid Tender

WCCTV the mobile surveillance solutions specialist today announce that it has won the tender to manufacture, install, and monitor Rapid Deployment intrusion detection systems across many of National Grids sites for the next 3 years.

WCCTV are to supply and install their re-deployable Tower solution across many National Grid sites, they are to be used as deterrent systems to prevent intrusion and theft on site. The systems are monitored remotely on an alarm basis, when intrusion is detected an audible message is delivered to the intruder, if they do not leave site escalation to the key holder occurs immediately.

WCCTVs Tower can be rapidly moved from site to site. If power is lost at any time, the system automatically issues an alarm to the control room and switches to a back up battery located within the tower to enable surveillance to continue. The Tower also has an integral evidential recording device to capture information.

The Company is a market leading supplier of mobile surveillance products into utilities, rail, local and national government, traffic and retail organisations within the UK and Europe.
