To mark Springhill Hospice's 30th Anniversary, this year’s Go Green campaign took place throughout the 31 days in May, culminating in a celebration event on the 31st held at the Hospice.
The whole aim of this, of course, is to raise money for the Hospice, which provides our community with various free facilities such as End of Life and Palliative Care as well as training courses for people such as caregivers, nurses and families who look after a loved one.
The WCCTV staff took part in the campaign to do whatever they could to raise funds. This involved many activities ranging from a tombola, auction and the main event of ‘Sponge Attack’ – this consisted of members of our Senior Management Team and Directors in stocks with the employees launching wet sponges at them.
The support of the local community and businesses is necessary for Springhill Hospice to continue doing its fabulous work. Therefore, we were more than happy to help with hosting our own fundraiser.
