Why did you do a placement year?

While studying for a BA (Hons) Business Management degree, I decided to do a placement year as I wanted more than just a degree; to be able to apply the knowledge I'd learned at university into a practical working environment.

Why did you choose WCCTV?

I attended the assessment day, which was very informative and gave in-depth information about WCCTV and how they support students throughout their placement. The Company offers opportunities for development, permanent positions, and career progression.

How did WCCTV support your development?

With the strong support of WCCTV, I have been able to expand my knowledge, showcase what I am capable of and develop my overall employability.

I have been given extensive training in all departments of the Company. This training has improved my overall understanding of how a modern business works.

WCCTV has continued to support my development, offering recommendations on how I can progress and improve, relevant feedback on my job and monthly meetings to encourage me to develop further.

Within my first month, with the help and guidance of my seniors, I was awarded BDE of the Month as I had exceeded my monthly targets; WCCTV celebrated my success with numerous rewards and incentives to succeed further. I have since received the same award on four separate occasions.

Would you recommend WCCTV to other students?

100%. It's a great experience, you will receive valuable skills and training, and the Company makes every effort to make you feel comfortable and treat you like one of the team.
