WCCTV has developed a warranty package to maximise the operational performance of your re-deployable surveillance equipment.
Benefits in renewing your WCCTV Warranty package:
Your equipment will be exempt from standard collection and assessment fee (£149.99 plus VAT) – repair is not included in this price. An additional fee will be quoted once the kit has been assessed.
Once you’ve notified us of your requirement for a repair and our returns form has been completed, we will arrange the collection on a day suitable to yourselves.
Wireless CCTV Limited will endeavour to repair and return all items within a 10 day period from the point at which the Equipment is returned.
If, within the Warranty Period specified in the quotation, you return any Equipment to us with a material defect that you reasonably believe is caused by faulty materials or workmanship we will repair or, at our option, replace the defective equipment at our own expense.
Items not covered by warranty are as follows; - Acrylic Lens, Power Cables, External cameras (Bullet Cams – used to plug in to Compacts/Micros/Nanos)
WCCTV’s Smart Switch allows a user to remotely control the power to a WCCTV Redeployable Dome or Rapid Deployment Tower system using mobile networks.
Intermittent or unreliable power supply to street lighting and other installations can cause power surges which may affect the 4G/3G signal of your WCCTV system. This can also occur following major power outages.
It is estimated that up to 90% of these downtime events can be solved with a hard power reboot, as power-cycling the equipment forces it to reset and restart from a known good state.
Being able to reboot equipment remotely allows the user to significantly reduce the need for expensive and time consuming site visits by engineers.
WCCTV Heartbeat is a remote diagnostic service that keeps a close-eye on your WCCTV equipment to ensure it is operating correctly. Twice a day, every day, we will check:
Connection Issues: Reports when the connection to the CCTV system fails or the system goes offline.
Camera Failures: Detects if a camera has developed a fault or is tampered with.
Hard Disk Failures: Detects hard disks failures or if it stops recording.
Recording Issues: Reports if the system records for less than expected.
Time & Date Inaccuracy: Reports when the time is incorrect or tampered with.
