James Thornhill

Commercial Finance Director

James Thornhill is the Commercial Finance Director for Wireless CCTV (WCCTV), overseeing the commercial operations in the UK.

James has worked with WCCTV for over ten years, and has 17 years of experience in the telecoms and security industries.

His outstanding support of the Company's transition through a prolonged period of substantial growth, and the management of the Company's relocation to a new purpose-built global HQ, contributed to his recognition as Greater Manchester's Finance Director of the Year for 2015.

He was recently shortlisted for the Best Northern Finance Director of a Limited Company up to £25m at the Northern Finance Director Awards.

James currently heads a number of projects that will ensure WCCTV's ongoing sustainable growth, including margin optimisation, appraising capital investment projects and developing a young and ambitious finance team.

Away from the office, James volunteers as a junior football coach and a treasurer for the same club in his hometown of York.
