Our Approach to the Environment
At Wireless CCTV Ltd, we recognise that managing our environmental impact responsibly is an essential part of running a sustainable business. Environmental considerations are embedded into how we operate, plan and make decisions across the organisation.
Our focus is on taking practical and proportionate steps to reduce environmental impact, improve operational efficiency and support long‑term sustainability. This includes managing emissions from our operations, improving energy efficiency, reducing waste and promoting responsible environmental practices across the business.
This approach supports our wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework and reflects our commitment to continuous improvement.

Environmental Impact
Reducing environmental impact and supporting the transition to a lower‑carbon economy are our core priorities. Environmental responsibility is embedded into operational planning and decision‑making across the business.
The focus is on practical, proportionate actions that improve efficiency, reduce emissions and support long‑term sustainability.
- Climate Change & Carbon Reduction
We are actively working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our operations and improve how we use energy and resources. Our commitment is to: - Reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030 from a 2023 baseline.
To support this goal, climate related risks and opportunities are embedded into our strategic planning and risk management processes. Our priority is achieving meaningful emissions reductions through operational improvements.
Where appropriate, carbon offsetting may be used selectively as a supplementary measure and not as a substitute for direct emissions reduction.
- Energy Efficiency, Waste & Resource Use
We continue to improve efficiency and reduce waste across our operations, including energy efficient equipment, recycling initiatives, lower emission vehicles and responsible resource management.
- Biodiversity & Environmental Protection
We support biodiversity through conservation aligned initiatives, including responsible tree planting programmes where appropriate.
- Training & Accountability
Environmental responsibility is shared across the business. We provide environmental awareness training to employees, with performance overseen by the WCCTV Board and reviewed at least annually

Emissions
We are committed to reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030 from a 2023 baseline.
We are continuing to assess pathways towards longer‑term decarbonisation in line with evolving best practice and regulatory expectations.
Engagement
We work with suppliers and partners to promote responsible and sustainable practices, and we communicate our expectations relating to environmental responsibility, health, safety and ethical conduct.
Employees
We provide environmental awareness and sustainability training for employees, supporting engagement and understanding of our ESG commitments. Our objectives are communicated internally to promote shared responsibility and continuous improvement.
Energy
We seek to reduce energy consumption by improving efficiency across our operations, including the use of renewable energy where feasible and energy‑efficient lighting and equipment across our facilities.
Efficient Products
Solar Powered CCTV Cameras
The design of our rapid deployment CCTV systems allows our client base to meet their own environmental objectives.
Our cameras can be fully powered by renewable energy sources, including solar power, meaning they are highly convenient for off-grid locations but also help support the environment.
Our solar-powered products produce electricity without emitting greenhouse gases, which are a primary contributor to climate change.
