Wireless CCTV Ltd (WCCTV) has been announced as one of this year's finalists at the IFSEC Security and Fire Excellence Awards

The Company has been shortlisted in the category of 'Security Project of the Year' in recognition of its work supplying body cameras to Morrisons supermarkets during the height of the UK COVID-19 lockdown.

Now in their 21st year, the IFSEC Security & Fire Excellence Awards have consistently broken new ground in highlighting the best that the security and fire industries have to offer. Shortlisted companies make up the 'who's who' of the security world, and this year's event is no exception with a record number of entries received.

Speaking on being named as a finalist, WCCTV's CEO David Gilbertson said:

"It's an absolute honour to be recognised by our peers in the security industry. It's a testament to our team's incredible efforts during an unprecedented time and the client's quality of planning and foresight. "

"As a British manufacturer, we were incredibly well placed to turnaround an order of such magnitude, and knowing that we were able to protect the people who kept the nation fed during the lockdown means we're already winners in my eyes."

In light of the current restrictions due to COVID-19, this year's event will take place entirely online on November 25th.
