Capturing a Major Milestone on the M53
CRL (Concrete Repairs Limited), working on behalf of Highways England, was tasked with replacing the ageing Moreton North Bridge on the M53. The structure had deteriorated to the point where a weight restriction was likely, threatening disruption to local businesses and traffic flow.
Given the critical nature of the project, CRL wanted to secure the site and also create a professional time lapse video showcasing the full programme of works. The video would be used as part of their marketing strategy to demonstrate capability and support future bids.
WCCTV supplied a Rapid Deployment CCTV Tower with an additional 4K time lapse camera to deliver both services through a single provider.
Our solar-fuel cell hybrid tower provided the required power autonomy for a remote, infrastructure-heavy environment, while the time lapse system documented key phases of the bridge removal and replacement.
The completed video was professionally edited by WCCTV’s in-house team and used by CRL across social channels, web content and presentations. The project also attracted wider media attention, boosting visibility for all delivery partners involved.
