Erith Contractors appointed WCCTV to provide time lapse video services during the dismantling of two disused gas holders near the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The project was part of a wider National Grid initiative to repurpose abandoned gasworks sites for future housing development.
WCCTV supplied a fully managed time lapse camera system to record the demolition from start to finish. The camera was mounted to a Solar Fuel Cell CCTV Tower, providing a completely autonomous solution that captured high-quality imagery throughout the works without needing onsite power or connectivity.
